The division of the therapeutic sessions of the Gate program
The gate program contains 40 therapeutic sessions held during a period 3-4 months. The program is applied on the inpatients and outpatients who attend the external clinics and the permanent care program. The program sessions are divided as follows
Firstly
from the first to the third session
These sessions aim to improve the motivation for the patients with addiction
Secondly
from the fourth to the sixth session
These sessions aim to help the patient recognize the nature of his disease
Thirdly
from the seventh to the thirty seventh session
These sessions entitled "the relapse prevention" aim to help these patients know all factors and causes leading to the relapse in order to prevent the patients from the relapse and help him continue to recover.
Fourthly
from the thirty eighth to the fortieth session
These sessions "the deduction of the positive aspects of the recovery" aim to modify the passive vision of the patient with addiction and turn it into positive one by showing the benefits of the recovery for this patient
